Development of football pitch's with the use of the latest technology allows specialist manufacturers like us to create a rootzone that performs for its players.

These 2nd generation fibre root zones allows turf to provide a natural yet enhanced player-friendly surface that comes with improved traction, energy absorption, ball bounce and grass cover.

The resilience and elasticity of the rubberfleck in the rootzone reduces surface hardness found in a traditional fibre-sand rootzone and by using a pulverised synthetic fibre we increase the amount of fibre in the root-zone giving move support for improved traction.

Combi-Ride, unlike fibre-elastic, can be installed using a concentrate mixture to transform a traditional sand or even a 1st generation fibre root zone without the need for removal. This 2nd generation resilient root-zone saves time, effort and money and comes pre-mixed with one of the UK's premier root zone sands with in turn gives you a world-class reinforced root zone.

Client List

The reinforcement of turf, on golf course tees, pathways, walkoffs and on football & rugby pitches, play areas, war grave cemeteries, bowling greens, show lawns, parks and on domestic grassed areas indicates a productive end use for the product. The latest generation of artificial turf pitches produced from synthetic fibre employ rubber crumb in the top dressing and old ones use it as a shock pad.

Established in 1994 as a specialist bulk haulier, the Hargreaves Group has grown, both organically and via acquisition, into a major force in the supply, movement and management of mineral resources and the provision of support services to the energy and waste industries.

Avonmore Associates specialise in the construction, management and maintenance of high quality sports field surfaces including bowls greens, cricket squares (both natural grass and synthetic), tennis courts, rugby pitches and football pitches.
